The 29th annual Delaware County Senior Games, held June 10-21 at 12 separate venues across the county, were an overwhelming success with 680 participants ages 50 and older. The games featured ten days of competitive events, medal presentations, and inspiring performances from the participants, who perseveringly competed despite some hot, humid, and threatening weather.

The games are held yearly at the start of the summer and all residents aged 50 and older are encouraged to participate.

This year's theme for the games was "Compete, Connect, Conquer."
