PA Senior Citizen Transit ID Cards No Longer Accepted for Travel Effective September 1, 2018
With the full transition of the SEPTA Key fare system, starting September 1st, PA issued Senior Citizen Transit ID Cards will NOT BE VALID FOR TRAVEL on SEPTA.
Senior Citizens, age 65 and older, with a valid ID, ride FREE at all times on all Transit Routes (Bus, Trolley, Trackless Trolley, Broad Street/Broad Ridge Spur Line, Market Frankford Line/Norristown High Speed Line).
Effective September 1, 2018, SEPTA has eliminated the $1.00 Cash Fare on Regional Rail for travel within Pennsylvania. Half Fare (50% of the Weekday Fare) for travel to/from New Jersey and the State of Delaware will remain in effect.
To ride, seniors must use either a PA Drivers License or a PA Non-Driver ID card as identification.

Replacement of Lost Cards
To replace a lost or stolen SEPTA Key Senior Card you must immediately call the Key Customer Call Center at 855-567-3782 (this is not SEPTA Customer Service). The customer service representative will provide information on how to replace the Card.
