We are happy to announce that we will offer contactless access to physical materials from Newtown Public Library beginning Tuesday, June 16th. We are quarantining returned materials for 72 hours so please give us a few days to prepare your materials. The library building will remain closed to the public at this time.
Beginning Tuesday, June 16th, Contactless Pick-up Hours will be:
•Tuesday from 11 am to 3 pm
•Thursdays from 11 am to 3 pm
Beginning Monday, July 6th, Contactless Pick-up Hours will be:
•Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
•Tuesday & Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
We are available to take your requests or answer your questions Monday through Thursday, and on Saturdays, starting on July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the library at 610-353-1022 x1 or email us at [email protected] to request items that you would like to check out. You may place requests through the online catalog starting on Monday, June 29. During the Green Phase of operation, all items will check out for three (3) weeks with one (1) renewal.
