The Delaware County Link sponsored a Housing Symposium on May 17, 2019 at the Springhaven Club. The agenda included an Introduction to Affordable Housing Programs by Christine Seibert from the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health Adult and Family Services Division, the Housing Choice Voucher Program by Laura Blackburn of the Delaware County Housing Authority,and the Prepared Renters Education Program by Megan Bolin, Regional Housing Coordinator with Self-Determination Housing of PA. There was also a Housing Panel which included representation from Horizon House, Another Good Day LLC, Community Action Agency of Delaware County, and a landlord. 115 people attended the symposium. Many of the attendees were landlords interested in learning more about affordable housing programs in the county and how to partner with these programs in order to create more affordable housing opportunities in Delaware County.
